MOTOROLA Land Mobile Products Sector, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, has
opportunities available as MECHANICAL ENGINEER.  You will be responsible
for design, development and implementation of 2-way, hand-held personal
communication and related consumer products including CAD modeling,
electronic packaging and analysis.  You will work with injected molded
plastic parts, sheet metal, brackets, enclosures, etc.  You will use
Pro/ENGINEER CAD/CAE tools.

Requirements:  Minimum BSME or equivalent experience in design and
development of similar products.  Should have demonstrated expertise in
Pro/ENGINEER or other similar CAD/CAE package.

system. Develop and  maintain accurate CADDS databases for all parts
designed. A BSME/MSME, or equivalent degree is needed. CADDS background in
Pro-E. Working knowledge of FEA theory and practical  knowledge using
Patran, Cosmos or equivalent analysis package.  Knowledge of plastic
materials, sheetmetal and castings to include thorough knowledge of piece
parts for high quality manufacturing technologies.
