1. AutoCAD MAP Cleanup Error

I'm having trouble using the drawing cleanup function in ADE 2.0 and
AutoCAD Map. When selecting an area by window or closed polyline to
trim boundary (all enities outside of boundary) , the function does
trim all outside enities, but also removes all blocks inside the
boundary as well. The blocks are simple circles that have inserion
points at their centers, and no part of the blocks extends beyond the
boundary trim limits.

Has anyone run into this?
