by Soft Mixed Signal Corporation, A Mixed-Signal and DSP based networking
(LAN and WAN) VLSI IC Start-up company, is looking for an Entry level
Engineer initially to contribute IC Layout & CAD and then transition
to Mixed Signal Design in the area of Communications.
The CAD engineer would be responsible for physical and symbolic layout
design, various layout tools setup, management and administration of
third party tools and develop in-house tools (through Perl/AWK scripts
or C/C++), enhancement and coordination of various in house and 3rd
party tools to set-up an efficient methodology for a Fabless IC Design
Environment.
Mixed Signal Design work involves designing various Analog circuits,
characterization and verification of existing circuits with HSpice.
Experience not required but preferred, especially with industry
standard IC Layout design tools (PC/UNIX).
BSEE or BSCS required, MSEE/CS preferred.
Salary would be based on education and experience.
