Has anyone tried Autocad R13 w/ Windows '95? Is it too new?
We are relatively new users (1yr and 4 mo.) Has anybody tried
it, yet?
I have seen a demo presented by a organization that sells
AutoCad that shows AutoCad and NT. It was fast!!
I need feedback ASAP. The order is in the mail!!

Yes,but first put in the balance OS/2 and then decide. Today all is new.

There will be a completely Windows 95 compatible version of R13 coming soon.
The version will be 13_c4 and is due out either this month or next.

They had to wait until Microsoft released the final version of 95 before they
could finish up AutoCAD (or so they say).

It works rather well. There are a few things that don't work quite
right and Autodesk says the C4 patch (announced for October, January
is more realistic) will have the stuff. But these are minor things
like long file name support, etc. R13WIN runs as fast under WIN95 as
it does under WINNT and that's a whole lot faster than WIN31 or
WINFWG, but still not quite as fast as R12DOS in DOS.
WIN95 makes R13WIN a useable product.

Am I to understand that you are referring to the NT binarys or the 3.1
vesion?
