The 6th International Parallel Processing Symposium is sponsored by
the IEEE Computer Society and is held in cooperation with the ACM
(Association for Computing Machinery) Special Interest Group on
Computer Architecture (SIGARCH) and the Orange County Chapter of the
IEEE Computer Society.

IPPS '92 PROCEEDINGS

The IPPS 92 Proceedings will be published by the IEEE Computer Society
and will be distributed to registrants at the symposium. Extra copies
as well as proceedings of previous years may be purchased at the
symposium.

The 6th International Parallel Processing Symposium (IPPS '92) will
offer an exciting program covering all aspects of parallel and
distributed processing. Once again, IPPS is an opportunity for
engineers and scientists throughout the world to assemble and share
current developments in the field.

IPPS '92 will be held from Monday, March 23rd through Thursday, March
26th at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

TECHNICAL PROGRAM

In response to call for papers, we received over 350 manuscripts; 118
of these will be presented in 21 sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday and will include work of researchers from around the world.

TUTORIALS

Four tutorials on varied topics of special interest have been
organized; two will be conducted on Monday and the other two on
Thursday.

WORKSHOP ON HETEROGENEOUS PROCESSING

Sponsored by ORNL/DOE, this one day event on Monday will present a
keynote address and refereed papers on topics related specifically to
heterogeneous processing.  The workshop proceedings will be available
at the symposium. This workshop is open to all symposium registrants.

PARALLEL SYSTEMS FAIR

This event, open to all registrants, will be an opportunity to attend
presentations on parallel systems under development at academic,
industrial and research laboratory sites.

COMMERCIAL EXHIBITS

Companies will be demonstrating commercial products and systems of
particular interest to IPPS attendees, Tuesday - Thursday.
