a Z-80 processor, Western Digital hard/floppy controller chip, a couple
of 68230 processor chips, 2 - 128k IGS v1.0 roms, a bank of 8 dip
switches, several on-board connectors ?????, and an on-board reset
switch.....
Someone said that I might have an old Cisco IGS router and that's all
I have to go on.....

To be sure what you have is indeed a Cisco product, you could call
them and describe it over the phone:

 Cisco Systems, Inc.,
 1525 O'Brien Dr., P.O. Box 3075,
 Menlo Park, CA 94025
 800-553-6387 or 415-326-1941

 Fax: 415-326-1989

 Good luck!

Try posting this in the cisco newsgroup, which I think is called comp.sys.cisco
or comp.lan.cisco.

1. help with 2501 cisco router

Somehow I think you have stumbled into the wrong newsgroup and that you
are not using OS/2....

I'd suggest posting your question in:-

comp.dcom.sys.cisco

If you are using OS/2, please provide some details about what version
you are using.
