Looking to get an internal SCSI CD-R or CD-RW. Have an ADAPTEC 2910B
SCSI card and an EIDE CD-ROM in the machine. Any recommendations on
units? Will use for music CD's and backup. Also, is there any
problem with the SCSI CD-R or CD-RW getting info from the EIDE CD-ROM?
1. Yamaha CRW2100EZ CD-R/CD-ROM/CD-RW drive not bootable
Just got the Yamaha CRW2100EZ-EIDE CD-R/CD-ROM/CD-RW (16x/40x/10x)
drive. I was hoping to just have one CD drive in my PC, however the
unit won't boot. I want to boot from the unit to install the OS.
For you pros out there, is it just the unit that I brought or are ALL
CD-R/CD-RW non-bootable devices.
