You have to apply the FP extensions to the web from IIS.

I am trying to set up a family web page, and have a bunch of pictures in a
folder on my D:\ drive.  I have my website on my C:\ drive  (both are NTFS.)

In IIS, I have added the D:\ folder as a virtual folder, and can access it
from within IIS with no problems, but when I go into FP2002, it does not see
this folder.

How can I get FP2002 to recognize my D:\ directory like IIS does?

Open IIS MMC, locate your web, right click, All Tasks...
