Discussions & Hyperlinks

Post by S. CLAR » Thu, 12 Nov 1998 04:00:00

I created a Discussion using the Wizard, and it places all the neccessary
items in a non-logical directory structure.  (i.e. It dumps all the files
into the root, and the discussion become their own subdirectory.)

Anyway, when created a logical directory structure and moved the files, in
Frontpage, it lost all of the hyperlinks to the messages that were already
posted.  I tried using the Recalculate Hyperlinks function, but it was
worthless.

If you have any other suggestions, feel free to submit.

Suggestion: Create discussion web as a subweb. First make sure with your hosting service that you
are allow to have subwebs.
