I use a counter that my ISP supplies in the cgi-bin dir of their
server. Then I use the "img src" tag on my page and set the width and
height of the img each to 1. This makes the counter invisable. I then
place the same tag on a seperate page that has no public access. The
width and height settings are not used on this page so the img displays
normally. Then I hit this page myself once a month and it gives me the
total hits to date. These tags are added using Insert-HTML Markup.
