novice.  i have both acorbat 4.05 and acrobat 5 and started to fill in
employment application form from co. website with personal information
text.  no problem.  then i got pulled away and so saved the form with
the fill-in data, first as a .fdf and then as .pdf file.  when i open
either of them now, the fill-ins are there, up to point that i stopped
typing.  i just can't recall how i got those fields to appear again.
can't get the hand to change to a vertical bar indicating i can type
text in the rest of the form.  no security prevents it.  also tried
downloading file again but cant get test to fil-in at all.  silly
ain't it?  TIA

You probably only used the forms tool up to the point where you were
typing. Use it again, to define more blanks.

somehow i got the *preexisting* form fields to show up.  is there a
tool or menu item for that?  can't figure out what i did to fill-in
those fields, perhaps "annotations" or some other menu item?  thanks
for your reply

The forms tool makes them appear as red boxes.
