Going on to improve its unit testing and integration environment X-Unity,
MIIK Ltd. announces availability of version 1.1 evaluation, which can be
downloaded from X-Unity website,
http://x-unity.miik.com.ua.

This version offers several new features like improved assembly locking
prevention,
monitoring of modifications made to loaded assembly, SourceSafe project
labeling, human-readable project name in e-mail notifications and more.

Commercial editions are about to be released.

1. ADV: X-Unity 1.1 and Data Centric Test Development Kit released

Version 1.1 of X-Unity, a unit testing and continuous integration
environment for Microsoft .NET Framework, is released today, Friday,
September 13th.

New version features:

* Automatic customizable project labeling
* Indirect inheritance for test suites
* Support for Managed C++
* Human-readable project name in e-mail notifications
* Improved assembly locking prevention mechanism
* Automatic monitoring of changes made to the loaded assembly
* Preservation of the current test selection when the assembly is reloaded

The Data Centric Test Development Kit is an add-in to X-Unity that provides
a
foundation for developing test suites for testing database-related code.
The Development Kit currently works only with Managed MS SQL provider, and
is capable of:

* Automatic transaction initiation
* Automatic transaction resurrection to isolate failed test impact
* Helper routines for executing custom SQL statements with a single call
* Customizable transaction isolation level
* Template methods for plugging in data preparation and removal routines
* Database pollution prevention
