Duration: 6+ months *
Architect the SAP solution for business unit and develop a road map for
implementation. Analyze requirements, needs and objectives and map them to
SAP processes, solutions and products that are being implemented. Expert
functional business and SAP technical knowledge in the area of planning,
scheduling, production execution, variant configuration and advance
planning and optimization. Knowledge and experience in design and support
of interfaces that link SAP with 3rd party software. Demonstrated
experience to work across SAP module boundaries and integrate SAP PP with
SD, MM and FICO modules. Strong communication skills and experiences that
support assuming customer facing lead position.
Main skills:

interfaces.
Requirements:
Demonstrate experience to work across SAP module boundaries and integrate
SAP PP with SD, MM and FICO modules
At least 10 years progressively responsible senior level experience in SAP
manufacturing roles
Expert functional business process and SAP technical knowledge in the areas
of planning, scheduling production execution, variant configuration and
advanced planning and optimization.
Extensive experience in a discrete manufacturing make-to-order controlled
environment that is product engineering-intensive (MTO+E)
A min of 5 to 10 years business operations experience in manufacturing
environment.
General SAP knowledge. Functional design knowledge, Specific
application/solution knowledge.
At least 10 years progressively responsible senior level experience in SAP
manufacturing roles
Track record of designing and implementing complex systems projects in a
manufacturing environment that meets business requirements within budgetary
and time constrains.
Business process knowledge both SAP functional and SAP expert skills that
allow for versatility in job assignments e.g. can lead a project team as
well as serving as a functional and / or technical member of the project
team
Have a strong communication skills (written and oral) that allow bridging
the gap between technical development and business process execution. Must
fluently speak and understand American English.
Attainment of engineering (BSE) and graduate business degree preferred.
Having prior work experience with Concert environment would be
preferable
Extensive functional and technical knowledge in the use of Variant
Configuration (both SAP classic and advanced modes) would be preferred.
Extensive knowledge and experience in the creation and maintenance of
super-BOM and super-routings in an SAP environment.
Extensive knowledge and experience in the design and support of interfaces
that support order BOM creation in external third party systems preferably
Siemens specific interface (e.g. COMPAS, Team Center, SPEAD, FAMES) and
transfer BOMs to SAP would be preferred
Extensive knowledge and experience regarding the design and support of
interfaces between manufacturing execution systems (e.g. DMM) and SAP
production systems.
Expert knowledge and experience in the implications of using non-valuated
materials in an SAP make-to-order manufacturing environment.
