Critical section works with threads, can work also for syncronizing
multimedia timer event ?

1. Critical Sections and Timers

As you see in the help for a critical section, it references that other
threads wait, and
other functions within a thread can have the same critcial section

What i need to know, is if you start a timer which will call functionx() in
Y seconds, is it
considered by the system to be an different thread than the one who spawned
it, or part of the same
thread.

This makes a big diiference to your crictical section handling !!
