BC++ 4.5 -- upgrade available?

BC++ 4.5 -- upgrade available?

Post by Ed Jens » Tue, 29 Aug 1995 04:00:00

I bought BC++ 4.5 when they were offering two free upgrades.
I already got my first free upgrade -- I was wondering if anyone
knew if the second free upgrade is shipping yet?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

It is just going out now.  Call 1-800-331-0877 to see about
getting BC4.52.

Call Borland at 1-800-621-3132 and choose #1 you can ask them to send 4.52 to you.
You will have it at the end of September (it's shipping next week).
[At least that's what Borland told me today.]

Btw, it's free.

1. Upgrading problem from BC++ 4.5 to 5

Hello,

because of some other problems I upgraded from version 4.52 to version
5. Almost the whole program code was reusable but the linker still
makes problems.

The Linker says that there are 4 unresolved externals. After having
checked them I found out that they belong to the message event
handler, e.g. "SearchEntries" or "Find".  I don't know how to avoid
these errors.

Thanks for helping in advance.

Regards,

Manuel Schmitt
