browsing suddenly stopped working

Post by Thomas Wimme » Sun, 10 Aug 1997 04:00:00

Hi !

I installed Samba (1.9.16p10) on my Linux-PC (2.0.30), and it worked
fine (well, sort of).
I do have one NIC (eth0) connected to the 'net, and one NIC (eth1)
connected to the internat LAN.
Samba is only available to the internal LAN and some services to only
one Computer,

But then suddenly browsing stopped working. smbclient -L <name> doesn't
give a browse list. I didn't change anything in the /etc/smb.conf, but
fiddeled with the firewall-settings, as well with ifconfig.

I checked the entries, but I cannot locate the error.

Anyone got a clue ?

Thanks in advance

Thomas
