I'm trying to configure Samba 2.0.6 on a HP-UX 10.20 workstation used
like a server. The HP-UX workstations are using NIS for account and
password.I've tested if smbd and nmbd are running and it's the case.
I've used the following smb.conf file:
[global]
workgroup = IBANT
[test]
path = /test
read only = no
guest ok = yes
When I try to launch a samba client on localhost using command:
smbclient -U% -L localhost
I get the following prompt:
added interface ip=10.1.1.1 bcast 10.1.1.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
added interface ip=10.1.2.1 bcast 10.1.2.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Domain=[IBANT] OS=[UNIX] Server=[Samba 2.0.6]
tree connect failed: code 0
I didn't find any explanation about the last sentence in the "Using
Samba Book" (Eckstein, Collier-Brown & Kelly, O'Reilly).
Could someone help me ?
Thank you.
Vincent.
