Hello-

I am sorry if this is in the doc or in a faq, I looked quickly
and didn't see if off the bat.... has anyone had the same problem, and
have they solved it?

I have the "printers" prototype as a service on my Samba server's share
list and I dont want it there,  what am I doing wrong.

Thanks in advance for any help,

                Jon

Add browseable=no to the printer section. This will cause the printers to
be put in browse lists but not the placeholder 'printers'.

How about your browseable config? It shouldn't.

1. Problems with special characters like ("?","ΓΌ","?","?",aso.)

Hi

I use Samba 2.0.4b.
When I copy a file with a filename including a special
character from a win95 machine to my linux server, I dont find the special
characters any more. They have changed to "_" or something like that.

What can I do?
Do I have to write something special in the smb.conf?
