MTI R418 w/ SiS 496/497 chipset support parity RAM ???

Hello,

I am looking into getting an MTI R418 motherboard with the SiS 496/497
chipset.

Does anyone know if this motherboard check for parity error if I run it
with parity RAM?

As a side note, has anyone tried running NeXTSTEP on it?

Thanks,
Chung

1. Mix parity RAM with no parity RAM on a slab?

My NeXT 68040 workstation has 16 MB RAM made of 4 x 4MB no parity SIMMS.
I would like to extend it to 32 MB, but the no parity SIMMS are not very
common.
I have 4 x 4MB SIMMS with parity in an old PC (30 pins too). Can I use them in
my slab along with the no-parity ones, or do they have to be all the same ?
