From my experience (which is minimal) with the win3.1 tcpip, is that is
meant for a network. Like if you were connecting a 3.1 system to a non-dial
up connection like a cablemodem or a T1. There isnt a "dial up adapter" like
in 3.1 which would allow you to make a tcpip connection throught the phone
Whereas in trumpet there is.
I have see the MS TCPIP stack at www.tucows.com under their win3.1 software
