Now that IEEE 802.3af has been approved as a Power over Ethernet standard.

Which do you think will become the more common use for the extra pairs of home network CAT5 wires ?  The PoE proponents think that
many devices will start using PoE for power.  You small/laptop computer could use it for power and/or recharge the battery.  Only
one cable needed to plug in.

Except most laptop users now would rather use wireless Ethernet -
802.11b/g/a.
