Voice Recognition

Would anyone care to answer me a couple of questions
about if I should be considering voice recognition in installing
a home automation system ?

How good is the voice recognition of this butler
control system ?

Apart from the Butler system, are there any other
options for Voice control of systems ?

Is voice control practical ?

What about background noise e.g. TV sound ?

Is there any Home Automation software for the p.c. which
includes voice recognition that us useable ?

Thanks in advance

If it's of any interest, I'm selling a Butler in a Box unit.  I haven't
decided on a price yet, and it's not the most recent version, but it does
work.  It can send X-10 commands and/or RS-232 commands, in response to voice
commands.
