In tests we have run, the Call Pendant can be installed onto, and set
off, the Powerhouse Security Console (PS561). I suspect that the
consoles are, for the most part, the same (with a few alterations). It
follows that the Personal Assistant would also be able to respond to the
Door/Window transmitter.
Why doesn't it work? Because the Personal Assistant has only one
"location" to store devices in. The Security Console has 16 "addresses"
for use with the various, wireless devices, and each time a new device
is installed, the console lights up a new light. Remotes do not count
as zones for the console, even though they must be registered with the
console. Once you have filled the console with 16 devices, try
installing a 17th device. The console will chime like it has been
accepted, but it will NOT trigger the console.
I suspect that the call pendant counts as a zone (where it wouldn't on
the console), and that you can get the door/window transmitter to work
on the personal assistant if you unplug the Personal Assistant, remove
it's batteries, and then start over again. Instead of installing the
panic alarm, install the door/window sensor first. The sensor will set
off the alarm, and not the pendant.
