what must be do to enable X.31 over the CAPI 2.0 ?

1. X.31 trace (was: NCPI for using X.31)

Ok, I used the trace util for an X.31 trace. Now I sadly have no
precise idea of what SHOULD be on the channels (mainly because I don't
know what the first bytes of each message say or should say).

Anyone with some experience on that topic? I tried another X.31
application and had a look at the CAPI trace. This application seemed
to fail the same way that mine failed. But it started a LISTEN_REQ
then (with InfoMask 0x7f, what's that?) and performed a passive setup.

Is there maybe a free-/shareware X.31 application I could use to
compare the traces?
