Call Proceeding - I-Element: Notification Indicator

Call Proceeding - I-Element: Notification Indicator

Hello!

If user A calls user B, and user B had a CallForwarding to user C so the
user A got a "Call Proceeding" with an "I-Element Notification
Indicator"-"Notification Description: call is diverting".
Here is an D-Channel Trace from Shamrock`s Capidog:
02  000000--  Sapi = 0
     ------1-  C/R: Command
     -------0  Extension Bit = with extension
 9D  1001110-  TEI = 78
     -------1  Extension Bit = no extension
 02  0000001-  N(S) = 1
     -------0  I-Frame
 02  0000001-  N(R) = 1
     -------0  P/F = 0
 08  00001000  ProtocolDiscriminator DSS1
 01  00000001    Length of CallReference = 1
 D7  1-------    CallRef-Flag: Destination Side
     -1010111    CallReference = 87
 02  00000010  MSG-Type: CALL PROCEEDING
 27  00100111  I-Element: Notification Indicator
 01  00000001    Length = 1
 FB  1-------    Extension Bit = no extension
     -1111011    Notification Description: call is diverting

But now the problem:
From my CAPI only comes the "Call Proceeding" without the I-Element:
Here the CAPI Trace:
INFO_IND                   ID=003 #0x02c4 LEN=0015     04:35:03:07
  Controller/PLCI/NCCI            = 0x101
  InfoNumber                      = 0x8002
  InfoElement                     = default

I think my Listen_Req ist correct to get this I-Element message from CAPI:
LISTEN_REQ                 ID=003 #0x0001 LEN=0026     04:49:44:10
  Controller/PLCI/NCCI            = 0x1
  InfoMask                        = 0x17ff
  CIPmask                         = 0x0
  CIPmask2                        = 0x0
  CallingPartyNumber              = default
  CallingPartySubaddress          = default

I think with  InfoMask= 0x17ff should be all available parameters set to ON
?

How can help me to recieve the I-Element in the Call Proceeding ?

Thank you

Robert

1. Call Proceeding & Progress

I need some advice. While analyzing ISDN-user interfaces I've been
wondering the difference between "Call Proceeding"- and
"Progress"-messages in Q.931. What is the purpose of the messages? What is
the correct order for the messages according to specs? I've seen at least
the following combinatios:

SETUP
SETUP ACK
CALL PROCEEDING
PROGRESS
....

SETUP
SETUP ACK
PROGRESS
....

SETUP
SETUP ACK
CALL PROCEEDING
....

SETUP
SETUP ACKK
PROGRESS
PROGRESS
....

I'd appreciate if someone could clarify this for me.

Thanks in advance.
