Looking for a PCI-ISDN card that can log D-channel to file

Hello reader,

I'm looking for advice on choosing a ISDN PCI card for Windows XP.
The included software should be capable of logging the D-channel
protocol to a file in readable form.

If anyone knows of a piece of software that is independend of the used
hardware (by using CAPI driver or something like that) that can log
the D-channel to a file, I'm also interrested.

At the moment i'm using an ELSA MicroLink ISDN/PCC-16 ISA card that
can log the D-channel, but got a new pc which doesn't have a ISA slot
:(

An example of the type of D-channel logging i need is below:
_______________________________________________________________________________

RX Frame number : 204                 date: 07/10/2003, 10:07:11:281
  1  1111 11-- SAPI                 : 63
     ---- --1- C/R                  : bit set
     ---- ---0 EA                   : bit not set
  2  1111 111- TEI                  : 127
     ---- ---1 EA                   : bit set
  3  0000 0011 Type                 : UI, TEI management
  4  0000 1111 Lay. manag. indent.  : 15
  5  0000 0000 ref. num. hi-byte    : 0
  6  0000 0000 ref. num. lo-byte    : 0 -> reference = 0
7  0000 0110 TEI message type     : remove by network
  8  1111 111- action indicator     : 127: request to remove all TEIs
     ---- ---1 Extension bit        : bit set

TX Frame number : 28                  date: 07/10/2003, 10:07:11:391
  1  1111 11-- SAPI                 : 63
     ---- --0- C/R                  : bit not set
     ---- ---0 EA                   : bit not set
  2  1111 111- TEI                  : 127
     ---- ---1 EA                   : bit set
  3  0000 0011 Type                 : UI, TEI management
  4  0000 1111 Lay. manag. indent.  : 15
  5  1001 0100 ref. num. hi-byte    : 148
  6  1110 1101 ref. num. lo-byte    : 237 -> reference = 38125
7  0000 0001 TEI message type     : request by user
  8  1111 111- action indicator     : 127: any TEI acceptable
     ---- ---1 Extension bit        : bit set

Thanks for reading and perhaps ansering,

Paul

Well, CAPI will not solve your problem in an hardware independend way.
The D-channel tracer is allways manufacturer specific.

That would not be the only Problem since there are no drivers for XP.
The actual drivers for the QuickStep 1000pci should work on XP and are
still capable of logghing D-channel messages - you only have to know
how. Ask me if you need advice.

Ciao, Georg

1. Looking for ISDN D-channel protocol software

Hi.  We are looking for a software package to manage the ISDN D-channel protocol
for BRI and PRI (using the AT&T T7230, T7250, T7121) chips.  Does anyone
know of someplace other than Link Technology that sells this software?
We'd go with them execept the software is $55,000!  It would be extra
nice if the software ran under VxWorks too.  Please reply by email if
you can.

Thanks,
