Japanese students rank higher then American students

Post by Justi » Sun, 23 Jun 2002 15:04:51

A recent study shows that Japanese students attend 6 more
weeks of education then Americans each year. Japanese
students have the education at the last years of high-
school that americans do at there second year of colledge.
All Japanese students learn Calcules in high-school, most
americans don' learn it untill Colledge. Japanese have
more education in Computers, and hardware, which makes for
a more technological scociety, quite more then the US.

Other studies show that since the 1940's the number of
high school graduats has decreased by a large amound.
Japanese schools are all more professional, and tend to
get alot more funding then American schools. In the US a
there is a large decrease of teachers, and teachers that
are educated in math. A large percentage and increasing
percentage of Americans do *, don't do thier homework,
and don't get good grades, compared to the increasing
amount in Japan. This comes to show that Japanese are
smarter then Americans, by a very big amount. The Xbox
would not be here without Japan, they practically made the
Xbox, that is where the hardware came from! All this and a
lot more truth at this site!

Funny how many responses there were to such a topic. My
brother posted that message and we are both 100% American.
Indefinitely, xbox is the best console on the market, and
who made it, USA. It is true that the regular students in
Japan score better on tests, but that could also be
because there school days last hours longer than ours.
But, the American honors and advanced students score
higher than any other country in the world. So, your still
asking what this has to do with the xbox. Well, those
advanced students are the people that Mr. Gates has
working underhim. So thats why the xbox is the superpower
consol just like its superpower designer the United States.
In the end xbox will prevail over all because it is simply
better and that is what we should be discussing. The facts
on why our superpower console is more superior. Just
sometimes people like to get us sidetracked on unique
subjects that bring up different points. So really, we all
should read and just nod our heads.

And then some americans still wonder why the USA is losing popularity
abroad. There is no limit to the ignorance of some people.

1. *!STUDENTS!* Add YOUR Name to the Nat'l Student Directory !!

Greetings to Students across the USA:

I am working on a project to compile a phone book for college/university
students.  The unique characteristic of this registry will be that it
includes interests/hobbies that can be queried - so you can easily find
other students who have similar interests as you, and begin correspondence.

To make this a success, I need EVERYONE to respond!
Spread the word!  Make copies of this message and have ALL of your friends
respond!!

To respond, fill out the form below, and reply via email.  It is very important
that you use the form as it is below, because I have a program to parse all
of the information.  Just fill in your data and return this whole message
as it is.

Note: to anyone who has too much time on their hands and wants to mess this up
by sending phony names, I have included in my program a "detective" to search
for phony names and exclude them.  Duplicates will also be discarded.  So don't
waste your time!

The end result of this effort will probably a system like this:
You send mail requesting all of the different categories and available values
for each category on file.  You only have to do this once.
Then you send mail requesting a list of all students who have X value in Y
category.  For example, who live in a certain state, or are in a particular
major, or have a certain hobby.
Now you have a list of people with interests similar to your own, with whom
you can correspond.

OK, here is the form.  Fill in as many of the fields as you can.  Simply
overwrite the sample entries:
