Hi,
Anybody know anything about modifying Xbox to play Japanese games? I have
already preordered Japanese Xbox special edition. If I can modify Xbox to
play Japanese game, then I can cancel my preorder.

I think  this is very possible.
Someone just need to find a way to modify the "flash ROM"
in the DVD drive. (no need to touch the motherboard)

My PC now has a modified DVD Drive and it can play all
kinds of DVD (is a Panasonic)

I am not sure about the XBOX DVD Drive...but I hope
someone would find out the answer soon.
*I want to play the Japan version games too.
