Hi Im running sendmail 8.12.9 on Solaris 8.

I got "unknown mailer error 4" and "unknown mailer error 32".

What does these messages mean ?
Please teach me.

The number is the exit code from majordomo's "wrapper" program. Since
they are "unknown", we don't know what they mean (there is a specific
set of "known" exit codes for mail-processing programs defined in
/usr/include/sysexits.h). Try asking in a forum that discusses
majordomo.

1. Problem using Sendmail "prog" mailer - unknown mailer error 1

I know this must be a novice question, but I was unable to find the
answer in the "bat" book or in the Sendmail FAQ.

At home, I use fetchmail to POP my mail from my ISP, and feed it to a
local Sendmail.  This works fine.  Now, I want to add a .forward to
slocal to filter and file my mail.  I am missing some important
piece of the configuration as my local Sendmail tries to bounce all
my POP'd mail.

Excerpt from log:

May 21 18:15:00 localhost sendmail[1361]: SAA01372: SAA01361: DSN: unknown mailer error 1

For the sake of completeness:
I'm running RedHat Linux 5.0, Linux kernel 2.0.33, Sendmail 8.8.4,
fetchmail 4.4.6, mh 6.8.3

Anyone wish to administer a clue-by-four to me?  ;)
