can anyone help figure out why a camera that is right-side-up, produces
upside down picture at receiving viewer, although it is right-side-up at the
sending viewer (as it should be, given the position of the camera)?

help would be appreciated.

May I make a suggestion here, why not turn the camera up the other way. I
reckon the manufactures stuffed up and put the ICCD up side down in the
case. I could be wrong. Take the camera back to the retailer and ask if you
could swap it over fro a trial. If there ain't a problem with the
replacement camera then it was your hardware (Camera). If for some reason
you are still transmitting an up side down image, one would assume its
software. I hope this helped....

I would check into options menu and see if you can check off something. I know
with mine there is settings that change picture to mirror reverse and so on.
