Hi, recently did a back up of my personal folder on a CD-
RW in order to change my system from WindowsNT to Windows
2000. When I try to Import the folder back I receive a
message saying that I do not have access to that file.
Can anyone help me, otherwise 5 years of emails and files
will be lost. Thank you.

I think you need to edit those files so that you can copy them. When you
save them to a CD, the files take the 'Read Only' attribute and you will
not be allowed to import them. Open the files you want and right click
on them, choose Properties and uncheck the Read Only box.

Hello Juan, thank you for your help. I copied the
Personal folder.pst file to my computer first then I
changed the properties as you said. I tried changing them
on the CD but it does not allow me to do that. However,
Oulook still does not allow me to import and open the
folder. It show that it is there, I just can't view any
files. Can you help, please?
