Outlook Express ver 6 vs. ver. 5

Outlook Express ver 6 vs. ver. 5

Post by Don Wilso » Fri, 14 Jun 2002 13:02:34

Can anyone offer a suggestion?

Ver. 5 Outlook Express when an email was open, the urls
are highlighted and clickable. To click on one and open it
in another window the "trick" was  shift+click on url.
This forced open another window. A very useful option.

Ver. 6 the urls are highlighted and clickable. The "trick"
does not work.

Question:  Has anyone found a way to force open a new
window in Ver. 6 when clicking on urls in emails?

Thank you.

1. Converting ver 5 sendmail.cf file to ver 8

I've got some highly customzed sendmail.cf files that are in version 5
format.  Is there some list of differences between the cf file formats
that can be used to convert them to version 8?  (Just changing the
version string breaks sendmail -- it no longer gives the error message,
but things don't work right.)

(Many of my hand-coded things are anti-spam features, and some are
alternate implementations of things that were later added to the
standard distribution.)

What features can't I use in a .cf file that claims to be ver 5?
