moving folders to other accounts.

I have 2 e-mail acounts.. I began a folder on one that really belongs in
the shell of the other. How can I get it to there so that it will still be
read as a folder?

Try to copy the folder to the other account. Test it to see if it works
properly, then delete it from the account that it is on.
This needs to be done from the Unix Prompt. I don't think Pine can do the
task.
I had this problem myself, and  I used FTP to copy the file. It worked,
but maybe I was just extraordinarily lucky. Try it and see what happens.

Unix account?  Try "ftp".

Yes, "push a few buttons.  See what happens.  Buy a new computer."  Sheesh!

I should have plonked that address the first time I saw that .. sick-nature.
*shudder*

Just why don't the Pine folks just post the URLs to the FAQ with their answer?
That way you would see how many FAQs there are and how to get at them directly.

I can tell you how I did it, and maybe it's the way others would do it.

All I did was to go into the the folder where you want the 'folder' to be,
and then ftp to the place where the 'folder' actually is.  Then, 'get' the
file, and you have transferred the file.

I've had to do this when I changed accounts, and it works fine for me.
