Access Blocking?

Access Blocking?

Post by Ashley M. Kirchne » Wed, 04 Apr 2001 02:33:23

I'm currently using sendmail's access.db option to block entire
domains that we do not wish to accept email from.  How can I do this on
a per user basis?

For example, I don't necessarily want to block all of yeehaw.net,

at that domain to be delivered normally.

Just like that:

Of course you don't have to say "Go away," you can tailor that as you
like.

1. access blocking

Can one block an entire TLD by just adding the extension to the
access file?  I'm trying to block *everything* that comes from
<anything>.cn - so far 100% of the time it's always been spam mail - for
the past 6 years.  And rather than having to enter each individual
<whatever>.cn in my access file, can I block the whole .cn extension?

I did try to add just 'cn' to the access file, but logistics told me
it wouldn't work (I just had to prove myself that it doesn't.)
