mac newbie-Receipient to nickname conversion

Post by Lisa Pippe » Thu, 18 Jun 1998 04:00:00

I have a user who has been using Eudora on the Mac forever. She now is
converting to the PC version. Here's the question, she has kept all her
addresses as receipents, not nicknames and of course wants to convert
those, can someone direct me to instructions. I have found numerous as
to converting nicknames and mailboxes, but not receipients. Am I missing
something?

TIA

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that early Eudora (Light 1.x?) made
recipients that were NOT nicknames in the address book. Instead they
got stored in the prefs file.

Might have to either hand transcribe or go in with ResEdit and
copy/paste them or something.
