I've been using Netmeetign 3.01 for a while.
I didnt' find any remarkable difference in video quality between .211 and
3.01..
Especially if u have large bandwidth like me ( DSL ).
Netmeeting 2.11 overall performance is better than 3.01.
I'm afraid that 2.11 life is going to end soon...
And I cant find any good news about future version of netmeeting (integrated
in msn messenger) so far...:-(((
I really cant understand why Microsoft wants to break down
the huge potential of Netmeeting in being the real exciting alternative to
Irc (txt only) related clients .
The videochat is growing faster and faster.
The few ILS remaining are overcrowded of chatters...hundreds...thounsands
(only 2 yrs ago they were tens ).
I heard that the future version on netmeeting won't support ILS tecnology at
all.
Why Microsoft dont understand the Directories is THE ONLY good way to make
brand new friends?
All most succesful chat programs mIRC, ICUII, CUSEEME are based on
directories.
You see a nickname that u like ...click on it...and u're done.
It's so easy.....
Why do they want to downgrade such a great program like netmeeting to a
hybrid ICQ- like software?
Netmeeting success is based on 2 simple things.
1) it's free
2) directories.
I think they're going to make a BIG mistake.
