(sendmail 8.9.0, Solaris 2.6)
We use the "virtusertable" FEATURE to map incoming e-mail names, entries
of the form;
At the end of the table, we put a general entry:
All this basically works well using a "dbm" map for the virtusertable:
that is, mail to unregistered users is caught by this "catch-all".
But we would like the text (that is, "No such user") to be a multi-line
message. Is this possible? (I have tried a few experiments with no
success, and also had a quick look at the source code, including that of
"makemap", and the solution, if any, doesn't seem obvious.)
(a) is it technically possible with the HELO/EHLO dialogue to handle
a multiline message?
(b) if so, how can I do it?
Thanks in advance.
