ESCOM bought the rights to their products.  They've recently started
producing the Amiga again.

No, as a matter of fact commodore is once again alive. Commodore was bought by Escom. New
commodore PC are sold in their stores.

The production of C64 is active for eastern countries. Escom doesn't own amiga anymore but still
owns commodore

Is this actually the case? There was also talk of Escom producing Commies
for the Chinese market but AFAIK nothing ever came of this plan. I belief
those Eastern European C64s are nothing were never produced. If they are you
could probably make a lot of the stalwart commie owners in comp.sys.cbm very
happy with a fresh supply of spare parts and maybe even new software.

Escom still owns Amiga by the way. The contract with Viscorp is still not
signed (although all the AT employees have already been sacked).

C= doesn't exist and hasn't since Escom bought it.The Commodore logo though is
on some Escom PCs because apparently C= PCs are highly regarded in Europe.Oh
and Escom still owns Amiga Technologies, nothing has been signed over to
VIScorp yet.
