What I'm doing wrong ??

Post by Alain Poupar » Sat, 21 Sep 1996 04:00:00

Yesterday I 've installed Managewise on a 100 users 4.1 server, I've
admin equivalent rights. Everything worked out fine.

 This morning, I log as usual and went into nwadmin ( the latest version
) to do some fine tuning in the main login script to have the dos
windows to cloes automatically in win95 bay adding command /c at the
begining of each dos command line starting with # (except the one
containing the "push" action.

Oh ...Suprise !!!! the login script editor was empty.... so I quit
nwadmin, went to netadmin in a dos session, and the full NDS script is
there ( not the net$log.dat )..

what am I doing wrong ....???? I asked somebody else with same rights as
me to start nwadmin and have a look a the login script... same thing no
text...

Is that a normal situation once managewise is installed ???, Is there a
kind of protection  on the general login script ??? am I looking at the
wrong place ??? please help...

The Managewise manuals are not all printed yet..... so I couldn't
RTFM....

problem that you describe.  If I run across something in my "trials and
tribulations", I will post here, or email you with any information I run
across.  Good luck.

1. What I'm doing wrong with ECT?

I have problems with ECT (Explicit Call Transfer).

My environment:
-DISA USB on Win2000 Prof
-Delphi4 with CAPI components
 by Peter Zwosta http://home.t-online.de/home/Peter.Zwosta
 and Dirk Rbenach http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/dirk.ruebenach

What is working:
1. App is listening
2. Client calls
3. App responses and by DTMF takes number to transfer

Now problems begin.
I try:
4. Hold client connection
    CAPIPutMessage
        (TFacilityReq.Create
            (aConnection.NCCI,
             fsSupplementaryService,
             TSuppServFacilityReq.Create(cSSHold, NIL)
            )

5. Connect to selected number (I'm getting new connection
and wait until it is in Connected state)

6. DisconnectB3 on client connection
    PutMessage(
      TDisconnectB3Req.Create(
          aConnection.NCCI,
          TStruct.CreateEmpty));

7. Make ECT
      PutMessage
               (TFacilityReq.Create
                  (aHoldConnection.NCCI,
                   fsSupplementaryService,
                   TSuppServFacilityReq.Create(cSSECT,
TFacilityReqECTParam.Create(aNewConnection.PLCI))
                   )
               );

Called phone rings, but doesn't connect with first call.
Maybe I haven't undestood ECT diagram on CAPI pdf doc
page 40 of Part III 4th edition.
