Help with Banners

Post by Hart Ral » Tue, 18 Jul 1995 04:00:00

We are using Netware 3.12 and find that the printing of banners is useless in
our office.  However, we are switching from the Dos enviroment to Windows
frequently and everyone on our LAN has different printing needs.  Is there a
universal No Banner command?

Your help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hart Raley

Could you do this by modifying the default print job configuration
in PRINTCON?

You can set DEFAULT capture statements with Printcon.
However, the Capture /nff works well also.

If you are using VLMs and  NWUSER.EXE to attach printers in Windows:

Click on "LPT Settings..." when you are in the Printer Connections window
and make sure the Print Banner box isn't checked...

1. Help: Suppress Banner Print

Hello...
We are running Netware 3.12. For individuals who have their own
printer, they
do not receive a 'banner page' with their name every time they print,
but when any one prints on the 'network' printer, they receive a
banner...

It is wasting paper, how can I stop it...

    My sincerest thanks,.
