What a wonderful site! I am greeted by a page saying "Netscape 4
Only". Doesn't this defeat the point of HTML? Do Netscape 3 users get
the same message?

Click on the symbol at the top of the page, next page sez Nav 3.0 or
better...keep going, you'll get to the free fonts eventually (4 pages of
5 fonts each)...

Yep, if you're using IE 4 you get slapped in the face on the opening
page and, in my case at least, can't get past the 2nd page. " .... all
welcomed" indeed!

I usually like to check out the competitors web sites and I think it
is save to say that not many people will be visiting this site!

Hey Kevin, I'm new. What's the URL to your webpage? I'll assume it's
compassionate enough to actually let you browse it if you aren't using
NetScrape Navigrator.

(And today in "Web Blunders 101", we'll learn a fool proof way to make
your webpage commit *-suicide...)

Now I get a real perty error screen.

Rule of thumb: Keep it simple.

i've admired your site for a long time. it seems to have the best compromise
for giving a good rendering of the fonts with a small file size. i also like
that
you share the status. for new font afficianadoes, your's and kiki's sites
( http://people.wiesbaden.netsurf.de/~kikita/font.htm ) are the best. (imo)

Thanks! The Font Pool has had two years to develop into what it is
today and what you see is what people have asked for in the 1500+
emails in my webmaster inbox.

I've got another 400 freeware, shareware and donationware fonts, all
in their original packaging, to add to the site in the coming months
and you will soon be able to do all of the font previewing / analysing
things to the fonts on the site that can do with good font management
software. Should be fun. :-)

Kevin.
