may I know if there is any rule on install E2K on a Domain
Controller or Member server. I have done on both (though
on smaller offices) and could see no difference. Would
appreciate it if someone could share their experience.

There is no rule about which type of server you can install Exchange 2000
on.  However in most situations we would advise that you install it on a
regular member server.  Things to consider if you do put it on a domain
controller is all around performance and security.

- Exchange and AD will compete for resources
- Consider if Exchange were to crash, or require some maintenance work to
be undertaken, this may machine the needs to be reboot - if it's DC/GC as
well other services will be affected.
- Any restoring of data for or the other service could impact the
availability of the other.

1. Creating user and mailbox from different DC not installed with E2k

I have multiple DCs in the same domain.
DC1 is installed with e2k
DC2 is not installed with e2k

If I create user from AD from DC1, there is also option to create mailbox.
How do I do the same thing from DC2?. AD from DC2 does not show option to
create mailbox?
