It is a requirement to be running Windows 2000 when installing Exchange
2000.

My entire network is Win NT 4.0, old server hardware. I
have new servers and am loading Win 2000 Srv on all of
them. Then, I want to migrate all the servers. One of
them is the Exch Srv 5.5. The first thing I did was
install Win 2k Srv, then began installing Exch 2k but it
errored out because maybe I do not have Active
Directory ????? This is the first server that I have
done. Do I need to migrate over my PDC first? Get Active
directory going, then install Exch 2k? Is it OK to have
all the other NT 4.0 BDCs up and running at the same time?
