Debby,
She needs to use 'Tools - Options - Calendar' to set the 'Appointment
defaults - Reminder' amount to 0 (zero). This will prevent the reminder
from being added to new items. No reminder, no bell. For existing items,
she will need to visit each item, and turn off the reminder.
