Is this not possible or what??

How can I setup one email enabled user to recieve all email that comes to
that domain, except the mail for the users that exist.
Sounds simple, but I have looked for a few days now.  Tried

that did not work.

It's the mail I want not a NDR or something like that.

I've been asking at a lot of groups for this but nobody answer.
I start to beleive that it's not possible to do but can it really be so bad.

Can anyone help please?

I can't think of an easy way to do this.  But you could maybe just make that
user the alternate recipient of each account with the "send to both user and
alternate recipient" option.  Depending on how many people you have this
could be a huge mess.

This is the same problem I am having. There must be a simple and
straight forward answer. Anybody?

You could forward all NDR (non-delivery reports) to a
specific user. Since a non-delivery report would get
created for all email that gets sent to a non-existent
mailbox on that domain, you would get the messages. (They
come as attachments in ndr's.)

Out of the box Exchange 2000 will not do this.  You can either program and
event sink or look at http://www.nemx.com/products/powerpac/index.html.

1. verifying I am not a spam relay

I need a better comfort level that I am not being used as
a spam relay.  I have E2K Enterprise server and host my
own internet email.  If I look at the SMTP queues, there
are always several there that are for obvious spam
senders.  They are always in a retry state and are
usually a day or two old.  I don't think they are going
anywhere, but should they even be able to create queues?
Is there an easy way to verify my settings.  I used the
default installation settings for Exchange 2000.  Any
insight would be helpful!

Thanks,

Don
