Exchange 4.0 Sp4

Post by Enrique Carrasc » Tue, 07 Apr 1998 04:00:00

Before update my Exchange Server form 4.0 to 5.5 , I have a lot of work to
do.

I`ve had my Exchange 4.0 working properly since today. This morning ive
found the IMS fallen. I`ve tried to Start it unsuccesfully. So i thougt i
had to update it to SP4. I did it but i.m still having the same problem with
de IMC and thus im also having the following error:

"The file version of '\add-ins\SMTP\i386\imcadmin.dll' installed on the
local server is not current. Unable to locate a correct version on any
server in the site. "

Does anyone know  what`s going on ?

Lot of thanks in advance.

Check the file date on this, it should be:

imcadmin.dll    Size: 378K      Modified: 3/27/97

If this is not the case then your upgrade may have not been successful
in copying this file.  You can manually copy this file from the SP4
installation directory into your working directory.

1. Store.exe in Exchange 4.0 SP4 having 100% CPU utilization

Have a Exchange 4.0SP4 server that was recently re-installed as per
the disaster recovery paper.  The main organizational server is
running Exchange 5.0.  Store.exe now takes up 100% utilization of my
CPU all of the time.  The only time it goes down is when we reboot the
machine/restart exchange.  What can I do to figure out what is causing
that?  Thanks.
