HP 720 and 802.11b

HP 720 and 802.11b

Post by Jack C » Sat, 19 Jul 2003 00:05:27

I've just set up a wireless 802.11b network at home which is working
great with my laptop.    Would like to get my HP 720 on the network.
Anyone have any real world suggestion as to cards that work well
and are easily configured ?

Thanks in advance.

1. OT-basic questions about 802.11b and 802.11g

You need to hook a computer to the router to configure it, but once it
has been configured, does it still need to be hooked up to a computer?
can you just hook the DSL modem directly to the router?

Is there any advantage to setting up a 802.11G network over a 802.11b
network at home with my DSL?
