Connecting Win NT 3.51 WS to Novell 4.1

I'm having trouble getting a Windows NT 3.51 workstation to connect to
a Novell 4.1 file server. I can 'see' the file server from the NT
workstation's File Manager, but when I try to connect to a drive I get
a message that says I don't exist as a registered user on the Novell
system. I think that I may have been using the same userid and password
on both systems when I first started trying this and got the same
response.
Is it possible that it is an issue with the two different concepts of
large networks? (Organizations vs. workgroups or whatever?)
Bindery Emulation is turned on on the Novell server. I have tried
exactly the same logon at the prompt from the file manager that works
on Novell workstations. It does not appear to be a problem where the NT
workstation has used up all of the attempts to log on that the Novell
server will allow it.

I think you may wish to try this on one of the NT or NetWare groups
instead of the WWW server group, but, my only suggestion would be to make
sure that the username and passwords are identical.

1. Connecting Win NT 3.51 WS to Novell 4.1

I am having trouble connecting a Win NT 3.51 Workstation to a Novell
4.1 Server. I can see the server from the NT File Manager but when I
try to log on I get an error message that says the the specified user
does not exist on the Novell network.

It appears to me that there may be some problem with NT adapting to
the Novell heirarchy structure.

I'm sure tha people do this all the time, but I've been trying for
about three months to get anyone to answer questions about it with no
luck. Is there a better forum for this question? Please E-mail me if
you know where I can get information on this problem as I have trouble
keeping up with the newsgroups some times.
