Help! Does anybody know how to make windows 95
not ask for password before dialing up for the
internet? I know that if you start windows using
a password then you can do it but I dont want to always
type in a password when I start windows. I know how
to edit the registery if thats what it will take. please
email me since I dont use newsgroups much. thanks much

You need to turn off the "Log on to network" option for the dial-up
networking. In Windows 98: open My Computer - DUN, right-click on the DUN
item use to connect to the Internet, choose "Properties", select "Server
Types" , and finally clear "Log on to network" in the "Advanced options"
group. There should be something similar in Windows 95 as well.
