Adding Menus to Mosaic 2.0 using CCI - possible ?

Post by Rupert Holl » Thu, 13 Jul 1995 04:00:00

Does anyone know if it would be possible to add an extra menu to
Mosaic using the CCI stuff and then from this menu get the currently
selected text (if any) and send this via DDE to another application ?
I know that I can do CCI stuff going the other way, i.e. getting
another application to control Mosaic but I need Mosaic to send stuff
rather than just receive.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Could you e-mail me directly rather than respond to this group.

Cheers Rupert.

1. mosaic 2.0 final beta - mosaic.ini and hotlist location

I renamed my c:\mosaic directory to save my old copy of mosaic.  My mosaic.ini
file was located in c:\windows and I kept a copy of it for the old version of
mosiac.  In mosaic.ini the location of my CurrentHotFile=mosaic.ini.

I installed the new version of mosaic and let the install process create it in
c:\mosaic.  My mosaic.ini file in c:\windows was updated to indicate that the
CurrentHotFile=c:\MOSAIC\mosaic.ini.

I don't see anywhere in options/preferences where I can change the location of
CurrentHotFile back to just mosaic.ini.

Is my only option to move mosaic.ini into the c:\mosaic directory and SET
MOSAIC.INI=c:\mosaic\mosaic.ini?
